Boutique Hideaway in the heart of the New Forest
WHAT IS BROCKENHURST LIKE?
Once William the Conqueror’s private hunting grounds, the New Forest is now a National Park. Within it, Brockenhurst has been described as Britain’s “Most Beautiful Place to Live”, where New Forest ponies, donkeys, cattle and even pigs (pannage season only!) roam freely in and around the village.
It has pubs, hotels, restaurants and small shops, including a greengrocer, butcher, an award-winning bakery as well as two small supermarkets.
The village is a hub for walkers, cyclists, horse/pony riders and people exploring the area. It is within easy reach of towns like Southampton and Bournemouth and a few hundred yards from the peace and quiet of the heathlands and forest. The coast is a few miles away, as is the popular local town of Lymington, accessible by car or train.
Set within the village boundary, The Shed is located on a private gravel track about 10 minutes’ walk from the main shopping street (Brookley Road) in a stunning location directly situated on the open Forest itself.
